(click on pictures to enlarge them) Recorder Player 2( 3 3/4" x 2 1/2") I realize that the hands are in the wrong position for a recorder, but I was trying to be faithful to the engraving. I later learned that in the Renaissance recorders were made to be played with either hand in the upper or lower positions. The unused pinky finger holes for the lower hand could be filled by wax when they were not needed. |

These hooks are as delightful as they are practical.
They are carved after pictures of old engravings of early musicians.
The twin circles at the base or sides of each one are filled by oval head brass
screws, which are provided, so that when the hooks are in place,
those circles are not hollow, and appear more like discs.
The dimensions (height x width) given are approximate, they are each
about 3 3/4" high. The "S" curved hooks extend about 2". You can
see a side view so that the hook part is more evident. These can be
used on flat surface [wall, shower, door, or cabinet, etc]
from which to hang items such as ribbons, robes, towels, keys, etc.
Oval head screws are included.
